とてもわかりやすい例文を見つけました。ここでは”The ghosts of Wales”は名詞句“the people of Wales”のようだ、そして名詞句”the scenery of Wales”のようだ、と言っているわけです。

ちなみに、ここに出てくるgwyllgiというコトバがなんとも厄介なものでして。辞書的に言えばウェールズ語でいう「くらやみの犬」みたいな意味なのですが、これ自体が、日本でいう妖怪や変化の類のような、モンスター名になっているとのことです。日本の妖怪のように(“like Japanese Yokai”!?)、「それは具体的にどんな姿なのですか？」と外国人が聞くだけ野暮なものかもしれません。
不定詞の慣用表現”in order to“は、「〜するために」と訳されます。目的や意図を表現する慣用的表現、などと言われます。
もともとto 不定詞には「目的や意図のto do」という用法がありましたよね。その前にin order をつけることで、「後に続くto do は目的や意図の用法だぞ」と、意味を明確にしているのだ、ともとれます。
